Vote for the best stories of 2015

If you’re a book blogger, podcaster, or booktuber, then it’s time to vote for the best stories of 2015. You are allowed one vote per category, chosen from the nominated works listed below:

Short Story / Novella:

Something in the Water by C.S. Boyack, in The Experimental Notebook of C. S. Boyack.

Slow Bullets by Alastair Reynolds.

Self-Published / Small Press Novel:

The Lost Mask by Ashley Capes.

Torchship by Karl Gallagher.

Rath’s Deception by Piers Platt.

Blood Toy by B. K. Raine.

Traditionally-Published Novel:

Son of the Black Sword by Larry Correia.

Luna: New Moon by Ian McDonald.

How to vote:

If you were part of the nominating process, then you don’t need to cast a vote. We will assume that you want to vote for your nominee(s). If you want to change your vote, or cast a vote in a category where you didn’t nominate, then post your new vote in the comments section below.

If you were not part of the nominating process, then there are three steps you must follow:

A) Establish your credentials. Make a comment on this blog post, with links to three reviews posted in 2015 on your blog, podcast, or booktube channel. If you have a multi-topic podcast/video, please give us time references.

B) Post on your blog (or talk on your podcast or youtube channel), discussing which story you think is the best. You get one vote per category. You may cast your votes together in one post, or you may use separate posts. You are not required to vote in all three categories.

C) As a reply to your credentials comment, post the name of your choice(s) and the link(s) to your voting post(s). We will reblog your material here.

The voting deadline is April 30th, 11:59PM US Pacific time.

Good luck to all the nominated authors!

Wow, thrilled to be nominated – my first nomination for an award, very happy (thanks to Maddalena at Space & Sorcery!) 🙂

I wanted to mention that ‘The Lost Mask’ is traditionally published (small press) – I hope that’s not a problem?

Thanks again – off to spread the word!

Okay, since I would really like to vote for Torchship, here goes. Most of my reviews are for a pro journal, so the bloggy stuff is … idiosyncratic.

    Bloggy voting goodness coming soon.
